For so long we have not been involved in the Church and have not been following the Lord the way that we should. I am very blessed that in September, Matt's friend David again invited us to visit his church. We went and were welcome not only by David but by everyone we met. I've never been greeted by so many stranges in such a postive friendly manager. It seriously was over whelming at first, seeing how God shown so brightly thru these people. I am very pleased to be welcomed into this church, we have not joined the congeration yet but intend to in the near future.
We have met such wonderful Christian people in our Sunday school class that I am very excited about making friends again. Which may be weird to say, but for so long we've kept a tight knit circle in our lives to ward off the negative things that people can bring into your life. I'm really stoked about this blog created by Jeff and Karen so we can keep in touch thru out the week Thank you guys very much for welcoming us!

- Matt is 28 and grew up in GA.I am 25 and grew up in NC. We are newly weds as of June 7,08, after a 6 and a half year courtship.We love animals, and are parents to 5 cats and 1 dog, no kids yet. We are Christians and recently began attending church again.

I am glad for the Lord's sake for you and Matt. Paul writes if you boast, boast in the Lord. it is amazing what you can do when you submit to His will. I hope you all have a great week!
